Subject: Natural Horse Trainer
I just returned from
Goldthwaite, TX. having spent 8 days with the best natural horse
trainer that I have ever seen.
I've been to many natural clinicians and this guy is amazing.
He is so clear and so savvy. He really communicates to the
rider and the horse.
Both of my horses really "got it" and were calm and light.
My daughter rode each horse during this time and he was able to refine
her skills and build her confidence even more.
He specializes in cutting performance horses but there were
QH's, Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, Morgans, Appaloosas, Tennessee
Walkers, Paints in his barn going through training. He works in all
disciplines with his choice being Western and his wife's discipline
English. Some top hunter/jumper trainers have him start their horses
for them because his end result is so willing and finished.
Every horse there is taken easy and slowly with a clear and
firm foundation. He keeps the horse happy and cues into their play
drive.
His 250 acres is set up for cutting cattle and with a cross
country course. It is beautiful with rolling hills and green grass
and huge trees.
He will travel anywhere for clinics ranging from colt
starting to advanced and refined horsemanship. He handles difficult
horses as well. You will not meet a nicer or kinder man. He is funny
too.
If anyone is interested his name is Aaron England. His
facility and his web site is called England's Versatile
Horsemanship.
Reggie is now so light in the bridle and he travels with
naturally lowered head and collection. He goes into water and he DOES
FLYING LEAD CHANGES !
This was accomplished in very short time. It's all feel,
timing and balance and Aaron made it clear to us both. Communication
is the ticket.
He will travel to anyplace for a clinic. You will love his
techniques.
I'm talking to him about natural hoofcare. He is listening.
